Tabletop: Persimmon & Green

In autumn, the scale of the trees surrounding our house becomes much more prevalent. The changing of the leaves creates a panoramic view of bright persimmon and green. Inspired by the colors, which are clearly visible when sitting at our dinning room table, I put together a similar color palette for a Sunday brunch....

Trying to bring the outdoors inside, I placed fallen leaves around the centerpiece of pumpkins, persimmons and dried boxwood.

I also placed persimmons at each setting to give an additional layer of color and seasonal flare. Mason jars help dress down the table, which is a mix of high and low pieces. The orange dinner plates are from Pier One, the salad plates are Wedgwood and the bread plates are Spode.
