For my adults only, spooky glam dinner party, I created a sinister looking cocktail that was bubbling with "black blood" Combining the delightfully refreshing and sparkle-enlivened Lambrusco with Cassis Liqueur and fresh blackberries, this is a fruity cocktail with subtle floral overtones. It's not too strong so it's perfect for sipping All Hallow's Eve long.....
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle chilled Lambrusco
- 4 ounces Cassis
- 12 or more blackberries
Directions:
- Place two blackberries in each of four champagne flutes.
- Pour 1 ounce of Cassis into each glass.
- Distribute Lambrusco between the flutes, just below the rim.
- Garnish each flute with a blackberry.
- Keep topping off with the remaining Lambrusco.
Makes: 4 servings
