Citrus Body Scrub
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup fine sea salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons jojoba oil
2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
10 drops of grapefruit essential oil
10 drops of sweet orange essential oil
* If available, we prefer to use all organic ingredients.
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the sea salt with the olive, jojoba and sweet almond oils. Then add the grapefruit and sweet orange essential oils. Pour mixture into an airtight container and store in a cool dry place.
Before shower, mix or shake ingredients together. Beginning with your legs, apply the Citrus Salt Body Scrub in a firm circular motion working up your body. Avoid your genitals, face or any broken skin. Once you have covered your entire body with the scrub, then rinse off with warm water and pat body dry with a clean towel.
* The oil in this scrub makes the shower/tub very slippery. Be sure to use a rubber tub mat to help avoid slipping and then give the tub/shower a wipe afterward getting out of the shower. Also, citrus essentials oils make your skin more sensitive to sun - be sure to stay out of the sun for the day or cover up and wear SPF.
