Cocktail Hour: Watermelon Rosé Coolers

For many, this weekend kicks-off the beginning of a week long Fourth of July holiday. And the start of any holiday deserves to be recognized with a cocktail. These Watermelon Rosé Coolers taste like summer in a glass, and will definitely get you into the patriotic "spirit." Keep reading for the recipe!


Watermelon Rosé Coolers 

Ingredients: 

  • 5 cups seedless watermelon, peeled, cubed and frozen
  • 4-5 ounces vodka 
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice 
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup 
  • 4 cups ice, divided   
  • 1/2 bottle sparkling rosé
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, frozen 
  • Mint sprigs for garnish 
Directions: 
  1. In a blender, combine watermelon, vodka, lime and lemon juice, agave syrup, and 1 cup of ice. 
  2. Blend until smooth. 
  3. Pour the watermelon mixture into a large pitcher, and add rosé. Stir thoroughly. 
  4. Divide the watermelon mixture among 6-8 low-ball glasses filled with ice. 
  5. Garnish with frozen blueberries, and mint sprigs. 
  6. Serve immediately.
